What Are My Strengths And Weaknesses?

My Strengths


My strengths are, I am cooperative, I'm flexible on doing different kinds of tasks, I have initiative and I am good at communicating with other people. These strengths helped me to have a good relationship with other people and to avoid conflicts or misunderstandings. When it comes to my academics, my strengths are my determination, honesty, creativity, discipline, dedication, and ability to work in a team. These characteristics help me to become better, and help me do my best in everything that I'll do. It also helped me to have a strong and good relationship with my classmates especially when there's a by partner or by group activities, these strengths helped me to work with them effectively and efficiently. I am also open to any criticisms because I know that these will help me to improve myself and it also helps me to be more determined and inspired to make my academic performance better, because I know that all of these will be worth it in the end. And when it comes to my daily life or the general aspect of my life, my strengths are also my determination, discipline, honesty, and dedication, as well as enthusiasm, trustworthiness, respectful, understanding, and empathetic. These strengths help me to be more open-minded in all the things that are happening, it helps me to be sensitive and careful to any words and actions that I will do. These strengths help me to be a better person, the dedication, discipline, determination, and honesty that I have helps me to be strong in every challenges I may face, to work hard for the things I want, and to accept defeat/mistakes and use these to stand up, fight again, and to continue making myself better. The enthusiasm, trustworthiness, respectful, understanding, and empathetic I have also help me to look for the brighter side of life instead of letting myself down, to be that person that anyone will trust and the person to go to when they need someone to talk to. These strengths also help me to know my limitations/boundaries and to have respect to myself and to other people, to have an open mind in every kind of situations because that'll help me to have a better understanding and judgement to it, and to be empathetic that helps me to be understanding when it comes to the feelings, emotions, or experiences of other people.




My Weaknesses


As for my weaknesses, these are lack of confidence, overthinking, too focused, procrastination, and impulsiveness. Ever since I was a child, I have not been very confident about myself, I easily get shy around other people except those who I am comfortable with. I also lack confidence when it comes to public speaking, but I try my best to overcome it since public speaking is one of the important traits in academics as well as in the field of work. Also, one of my weaknesses is overthinking. I overthink everything I do and say, and it affects my mood that results in low self-esteem, distractedness, mood swings, and I tend to isolate myself from other people. I also consider as my weakness the trait of being too focused because when I'm too focused on doing a specific activity, I tend to forgot to do other important things, I let myself starve just to finish what I'm doing, I don't care if I'll stay up late because I just want to finish the activity I'm doing, and being too focused affects my knowledge and skills in doing a specific activity because it makes my mind to think many things/ideas that makes my mind crowded which resulted to having poor decision-making skills in making a specific activity or when facing a situation. In contrast, even though one of my weaknesses is being too focused, one of these is also procrastination. Sometimes I tend to become too focused on doing an activity, but there are also times that I procrastinate especially if there are a lot of activities to do because it makes me feel overwhelmed that resulted in postponing doing those activities, and that is one of my weaknesses because I feel like I'm wasting time instead of doing those things/activities right away. And lastly, I am impulsive in doing things that's why I consider it as a weakness. One of the examples is online shopping, I tend to buy a lot of things impulsively, even though I don't really need that specific thing/s, as long as it's cute, or I think it will look good on me or it will look good in my room, I will buy that right away without thinking if I really need it or if it is essential. I also decide impulsively when I'm too happy, sad, or angry, which results in bad outcomes because I don't think carefully before making a decision. And even though I have these weaknesses, I'm doing my best everyday to become better and to slowly overcome these weaknesses.
